Pallah (Sarvash) Olexandra is working on the development of modern (alternative) methods, based on extracts of edible plants to prevent the formation of biofilms by opportunistic pathogenic microorganisms in the biotic surfaces in order to implement these novel approaches in the food industry.

Meleshko Tamara is working to test personalized diets depending on diseases in clinical units. Explores the impact of epigenetic factors, including functional foods, on human microbiotа. Takes part in clinical tests using personalized diets and examines their impact on human microbiome and the immune response and biochemical status in patients with type II diabetes and other non-communicative diseases. 1st year postgraduate student in specialty microbiology, in Uzhhorod National University.

Bati Viktoria is engaged in a study of the human organism of both commensal microbiota species as potential probiotic preparations and different types of diets and their components. Together with a group of authors she conducted selection and proposed a number of prebiotic compounds that after patenting will be included in the composition of new biologics to be implemented in the food industry, medical and veterinary practice.

Symochko Lyudmyla – cand. of biological sciences, a specialist in environmental microbiology. Engaged in autoecology and synecology research of microbiota of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. Microbiological monitoring of soils of different types of ecosystems in the Carpathian region. Developing new and improving existing methods of bioindication and biological testing the edaphotops in different biogeocenoses and detecting microorganisms, producers and phytostymulating  and phytoinhybiting metabolites. Explores the role of natural and transformed ecosystems as reserves of antibiotic-resistant microorganisms. Held bio-contaminant to determine the sensitivity to a wide range of antibiotics and detect antibiotic-resistant opportunistic pathogens and risk assessment and getting them into the body with foods.

 Author of over 90 scientific publications, incl. 44 in professional journals.

Participant and co-organizer of numerous international congresses and conferences. Over the past three years made nine presentations at international conferences.

Petrov Viktor – engaged in the research of the phenomenon of oral tolerance and use of existing knowledge to create personalized recommendations for improving and maintaining the health and natural defenses (incl. from infectious agents). Researching some extracts of edible plants, microorganisms and their metabolites, promising in terms of the biotechnological production of wide therapeutic use of functional foods.

Monitoring  key microbioma changes (in different habitat persons) for most common chronic not communicable somatic diseases.

 Two-time scholar of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation Hisema, awarded by diplomas of the Mayor of Uzhhorod, CMU, the winner of "Best young scientist of UzhNU" award.

Winner of the Cabinet of Ukraine 2013 award.

In 2014, defended thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences.

Sukharev Serhiy - Doctor of Chemistry, professor of ecology and environmental protection.

Research interests:

• spectroscopic analysis methods;

• use of complexes in analytical chemistry;

• radiological methods of analysis;

• monitoring of environmental objects;

• assessment of the environmental condition of the objects of the environment.

 PhD thesis "Metal complexes with organic derivatives of hydrazine in spectroscopic analysis methods of natural and technical objects" (specialty 02.00.02 - analytical chemistry, 2012, the Bohatsky Physical-Chemical Institute. NAS of Ukraine).

He has 195 scientific and methodical works, incl. 73 articles in professional journals, 24 publications in journals, incl. those belonging to international scientometric databases, co-author of three books, five national patents, two MOH of Ukraine textbooks.

He took part in three projects funded from international grants, co-director in three state budget funded research projects. Under the guidance of S. Sukharev, one dissertation was defended (Delegan Kokayko S.V., 2013).
