Cross-border cooperation between the Visegrad Four and Ukraine was discussed at UzhNU
On Wednesday, June 22, Uzhhorod National University hosted an international seminar on "Cross-border cooperation at the time of crisis on neighbour’s soil".
A welcome speech was given by Professor Myroslava Lendel, who introduced the project coordinator Ignacy Jóźwiak and told the guests about our university. She emphasized: "It is noteworthy that we gathered here in Uzhhorod because our city is one of the most notable European cities involved in cross-border issues. So we are pleased to have become part of the project team. A lot of research into the matters of cross-border relations is being conducted at the moment, including the research of migration issues. In the autumn we are going to publish a collection of analytical materials covering the issues of cross-border cooperation including the topic of migration".
The seminar was attended by the representatives of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine, all of whom described the situation in recent years in their countries including the one at the time of crisis.
