On St. Nicholas Day students of the Faculty of Economics organized the festivities for boarding school pupils
On the eve of New Year and Christmas, all the children expect miracles, fun and presents. On St. Nicholas Day, students and teachers of the Faculty of Economics together with the volunteers of the campaign "Buy a Meeting – Present a Festivity to a Child" visited the Boarding School of Ilnytsia, which has almost 70 pupils.
Visiting orphanages has already become a good tradition for the students of UzhNU. It was not the first visit of the representatives of the Faculty of Economics to the boarding school of Ilnytsia, and they were met there as old friends. This time, 15 students and teachers of the faculty visited the boarding school.
As the Dean of the Faculty of Economics Vitaliy Serzhanov noted, such trips are initiated by indifferent students who are happy to join student activities from the first year of study, and are, of course, supported by the teachers. In fact, organizing a trip, collecting necessary funds, choosing presents is hard work that students take up in their spare time to please the ones who are in need..
Students brought sweet presents, toys and some other necessary things, and invited the person who entertained the children duting the party. It’s always nice to get presents, but most children are happy to meet their friends, talk to students, play games and hug.. At the end of the party there was a festive dinner.
