International scientific and practical conference "Recent achievements of forensic medical science and examination" took place in UzhNU
The activities of the scientific forum were organized by the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine, State Higher Educational Institution "Uzhhorod National University", P.L.Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Association of forensic doctors of Ukraine and Association of forensic dentists of Ukraine. The conference has been included in the annual Register of congresses, symposia and scientific conferences held in 2015 and approved by the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine.
The official opening took place on April, 30 2015 in the large conference hall of the hotel "Prague". It was attended by key figures of forensic medical examination of Ukraine: head of the Association of forensic doctors V.V.Voychenko, chief forensic medical expert of the Kyiv FME office V.L.Kondratenko, head of the Department of forensic medicine of P.L.Shupyk NMAPE V.D.Mishalov, chief forensic and medical expert of Chernivtsi FME Office and Head of the Department of forensic medicine of Bukovinian University V.T.Bachynskyy, deputy head of the MIA of the Transcarpathian region S.V.Rossoha, chief forensic and medical expert of the Transcarpathian FME office S.S.Bodnar, head of the Association of Forensic Dentistry Y.Y.Kostenko and others.
Lecturers of the departments (courses) of forensic medicine of medical and legal universities, experts in forensic and medical examination, criminology, members of the Association of forensic doctors of Ukraine and the Association of forensic dentists of Ukraine, specialists in forensic dentistry, specialists from foreign countries participated in the work of different sections of the international conference.
The main topics discussed at the forum were: forensic medical science and education, forensic medical examination, criminalistics. The purpose of the forum was to discuss the issues relating to forensic medical science, practice and education, the results of which are advisable to implement and use in the educational activity of medical and legal universities and practical work of the offices of forensic medical examination.
The invited honorary guests of the conference were the founder of the International Association of Forensic Dentistry professor Tour Solheym (Norway), the President of the East European Association of Forensic Medicine Kurt Trubner (Germany), a leading forensic medical expert Jozef Shidlo (Slovakia) as well as the delegation from Moldova headed by Andriy Padura.
